The performance, an excursus in the world of operetta, is an original way to reassess one of the most lucky genres of late XIX century; a simple and improbable plot, a splendid and attracting setting, a joyful orchestration, cheerful and hilarious music: these are the elements of operetta.
The narrator on stage will bring you from Vienna to Paris, from Naples to Budapest describing the differences among various kinds of operetta in Europe, through a musical path made of famous arias and unforgettable stories, like The merry widow, Die fledermaus, Il paese del sorriso, Cin-ci-là, Al cavallino bianco and many others.
With virtuoso transcriptions of the most famous operettas, the Ensemble Giordano will accompany the two solo singers who will recreate the fantastic world of princesses and champagne with a fine action.
