Dedicated to Spain and his music, the concert evocates timbre and stylistic atmospheres of classic and popular Spanish music, through a stylistic and chronological path. The program covers a wide repertoire which goes from famous popular pieces like
Alfonsina y el mar to works by
Albeniz and
De Falla, passing through non Spanish authors who have dedicated some of their works to Spain, like
Bizet’s
Ouverture of Carmen and
Ravel’s
Alborada del gracioso.
With many colours and many styles, the concert proposes a Mediterranean and sunny portrait of a nation rich of history, styles, emotions and passions.
